CRM in the 21st Century - Episode 15

On July 25, Chris Webster gave a talk in San Diego and the monthly meeting of the San Diego County Archaeological Society. The talk was titles, "CRM Archaeology in the 21st Century". Here is the abstract:

Field sciences are changing on an almost daily basis. Technology is being incorporated into every facet of our personal and professional lives. Archaeology has historically been on the backside of the technology curve as new ideas are adopted by other fields. How can we
bring CRM Archaeology into the 21st century without breaking the bank and the budget? Can technology be incorporated into fieldwork simply and easily? Absolutely. By using robust tablets and existing third party applications, firms can increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve the quality of life for their employees.

SiteViewer - Episode 14

Russell talks to Josh Harle, the creator of an app called Site Viewer. This app allows people to display and share photogrammetric and 3D images on smartphones and devices with little memory capacity. This is an interesting app and a great idea!
